What is the difference between Office 365 & Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365
- Microsoft 365 includes: Office 365 + EMS + Windows 10Enterprise
Microsoft 365 F1
- For first-lineworkers
- Typical users do not have a fixed desktop PC. Work a lot on the move, have a tablet. Do not need Office 365 ProPlus.
Microsoft 365 E3
- For knowledge workers.
- A typical user has a laptop or desktop, often works in the office with Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and so on.
Microsoft 365 E5
- For higher risk users.(safety)
- This licence includes additional security products. Such as Cloud App Security. With this you can see, for example, which data and which documents are accessed and by whom. Block applications, etc..
What is the difference?
- As you can see in the picture below Office 365 is just the office 365 package. Not only office 365 ProPlus (the office software package) but also all online services such as OneDrive, Teams, OneNote,...)
- With Microsoft 365 you are also entitled to Enterprise Mobility & Security. Windows 10 Enterprise.
