Within Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Online it is possible to send messages with some delay. This gives the flexibility to schedule reminders or important messages to generate maximum impact to the recipient.

Or vice versa. If you do not wish to disturb someone, it is respectful not to send messages after 6pm. You can do this within Office 365Outlook, specifically schedule messages that you can send late or at a later time.

Open Outlook Online in the web browser

Browse to https://o utlook.office.com to check your online e-mail box.

Press on the top left: Create a new e-mail message.

Prepare the recipient and the message and wait a moment before sending.

Delayed sending of an e-mail message

If you want to postpone an e-mail message you can press the arrow next to the Send button.

Choose the time you want to send your e-mail and press Send.

Update your planned post?

You can edit the planned message at any time as long as it has not yet been sent. Press the icon on the top right to edit the message.
