How to update drivers with Windows Update in Windows 11

Drivers are pieces of software that control hardware. A Bluetooth driver, or a HID device, allows devices to connect to your computer.

Drivers are never installed automatically in Windows 10 or Windows 11. And require some manual action before you can update them automatically. You can see these instructions in the video below.

If you prefer not to use Windows Update, it is also possible to update drivers via the hardware supplier.
